For the first time in the event’s history, all 140 t-shirts were sold out on Day 1. This not only marked the highest number of shirts ever produced for the Toronto event but also the most well-received design to date. Attendees flocked to the registration area, eager to secure their own, underscoring the significance of uniquely designed conference merchandise.

The t-shirts, worn by volunteers, not only facilitated attendee-volunteer interactions but also added to the event’s vibrant atmosphere. The success of the T-shirt design was a testament to the excitement and engagement it sparked from the moment attendees laid eyes on it.

The 2024 DesignThinkers t-shirt wasn’t just another piece of conference swag—it carried a deeper significance. This year’s design featured an optical illusion, symbolizing the concept of ‘Going into the Rabbit Hole.’

“Into the Rabbit Hole” is a fitting theme for a creative conference, as it represents the creative process’s unpredictable, dreamlike, and unexpected journey. As Anand explains, “Into the Rabbit Hole is an invitation into the creative process—the dreamlike, unpredictable, and unexpected world of endless discovery.”

Designed by the creative minds at Whitman Emmerson, this year’s branding resonated with attendees, making the t-shirts a true representation of the conference theme.
