Under the Spotlight: Alexis Sanchez

He could easily be called, “The Man Who Has Lived Everywhere,” Account Manager Alexis Sanchez holds down the fort at Genumark’s Satellite Office in Ottawa. Alexis is constantly moving around Ottawa, taking care of the needs of his clients. He is always learning what’s new and hot from our vendors in order to better serve the region of Ottawa.

We got him to sit in one place long enough to have a chat and learn a little more about him.

ALEXIS, WHAT DO YOU DO ALL DAY?

Most of the time I am researching ideas and products for clients. This takes up about half of my day. The other half I visit clients, present them the products I have found for them and basically catch up with them and find out what their requirements are.

My degree was in international business so it fit the role well.

COOLEST PROMOTION PRODUCT YOU HAVE WORKED ON AT GENUMARK?

Would have to be the railway safety program we are doing for Operation Lifesaver. We are in the midst right now of creating branded ponchos for homeless people. It is a major concern, especially in western Canada, where homeless people are hanging around rail tracks while cars are coming through. These ponchos have information on them about railway safety as well as helping make wearers more visible to train conductors.
