On Wednesday the 23rd of November Prime Minister Stephen Harper took some time out of his day to meet with star Yannick Bisson and the producers of his beloved Canadian TV drama “Murdoch Mysteries”.
During their time together at his wood panelled corner office on Parliament Hill the producers presented the Prime Minister with a silver “Murdoch Mysteries” pocket watch that was made by Genumark. Harper said “this is something I can use” as he never wears a watch due to being allergic to certain metals.
Harper famously made a cameo appearance as a desk sergeant in the hit TV show last summer. This contributed to the show receiving it’s highest ratings ever of over 700,000 viewers across Canada.
Harper may also be in line for a writing credit for a story based on the murder of a Toronto Wellington Stanley Cup player! Click here to get the full story from the Maclean’s website!
