Genumark client Central 1 asked us to source swimming floaties. Although this may seem like a strange and unusual promotional product to find, this is not the first time we have had to do this. What was unique about this project, however, was the way that Central 1 intended to use them!
Central 1 was creating marketing materials for an event called the MACU (Marketing Association for Credit Unions) Strategic Marketing Conference & Aime Awards Gala which is being held in Niagara Falls in June. To tie in with the event location and the iconic waterfall, they wanted to customize a floatie with the event’s logo and slogan of ‘Take the Plunge’. Now the genius part of this is that the floatie along with a custom printed insert are going to be used as the invitation to the event. Cleverly tying together the location of Niagara Falls , the floatie and a slogan of ‘Take the Plunge’ – we think this is an amazing demonstration of what the conference is: strategic marketing!
