Twenty-one staff members from the Toronto office of Davis LLP participated in the “Big Bike” event on Thursday, August 25th in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Sporting Davis LLP T-shirts, all twenty-one participants pedalled together on a large tandem bike around the streets the downtown Toronto. In total the group raised nearly $3000 through their own fundraising efforts in combination with a generous donation from the firm.
What is BIG BIKE?
The Heart & Stroke Big Bike is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies and groups. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders (and one driver provided by the Foundation) pedal through their community in support of heart disease and stroke research.
